Uptate on my dog

The surgery has been postponed until next Monday!!! What happened was that my "smart" dog got sprayed by a skunk the night before D-Day. It's only the third time she got sprayed, so you'd think she'd remember and learn from past experiences.... Sigh...

Anyway, the doctor preferred to wait till she gets cleaned up first at the grooming salon, since she's not supposed to have a bath for a few days after the operation. Our whole house stinks now, because she went around rubbing her sprayed face onto all the furniture.

I still feel very bad about her situation, but I guess it's really not such a great tragedy. Not when I see how some dogs with worse handicaps still manage to live a very happy life with a loving family.
