Real Women (Dove campaign) I am not celebrating Women's Day today. Or any day. It's a bit demeaning, I think, to be given one day a year where people give you a flower, pat you on the head and say "You go girl" and then it's back to the same old, same old for the rest of the year : rape, forced marriage, domestic violence, housework, less pay for equivalent work, veil, genital excision, "honour" killing, etc...
